haLo halo! =D it's wednesdae late afternnon, it's not 5.30pm yet, and guess wad? i'm hoMe! surprise. =)) decided to make a change and come home early 4 once, you've got 2 start somewhere? =D

aniwae i haven't blogged 4 a veri long time le, rite? =)) let's update! i start from last fridae ba, cuz i 4got alot of details le, if i have 2 go back even furtheR.. =D last fridae, i had eLect geog de tourism test, amath and emath retest! and the night b4 i stayed up til 4.30am to study everytink, which means i slept for 1and a 1/2 hour til 6am, den i woke up. new recoRd! =D [haZeL, tis is not i jia yong gong OK. LOL. =D] but during schooltime when i did the tests, it was a veRi different feeling from previous tests. last time during these subjects de tests, it was aLwaes the foreboding inside, cuz you noe tat you didn't stay up late enough, or spend enough time 2 revise. yupp. a? no, tat shouldn't be the wae 2 sae it. =D it's not how late you stay up, it's how much daily effort you put in, not how long you spend cramming the night b4. haHaha.. =D i rmb mr lee said tat some time back.. back 2 the tests? =)) tis time i actualli knew how 2 do it, it sure felt good man! =D

but i had a terrible fLu around mid-dae, which stopped halfwae through nP, when i was teaching drills. =D it was kinda embarrassing, realli, imagiNe talking halfwae, and in the midst of demonstrating, you have 2 sae, "wait arh, i need 2 wipe my nose." and you've got 2 quickly arch your head back 2 prevent a awful scene with your noSe. loLs..! =D luckily auggy was there to heLp out, we could take turns. =))

talking about sun, my tan from being at the sec 2 junior nCo course is fading Le! i'm going 2 fade into the white monster again. =D haHaha, i realli don't like being so fair, it looks so repuLsive on me! some ppl look nice when they're faiR, of cuz, but 4 me, no wae! people mistake humid for being hot sometimes, and tink those who don't like sweating doesn't like the sun? yea, my own cousin does juz tat. =D i don't like humid, but sunshine is the fun. =D

let's skiP weekend ba, nothing much, i wan 2 go on 2 mondae.. =)) i got back my eLect geog test.. and guess wad, this time i passeD, 14/20..!!! man, i was like, so damN HAPPIE!!! =D for the rest of the lesson, i couldn't stop smiling! oK, tis may sound coRny to 2 u now ba, if you're reading this, but at tat point of time, tat test was a kind of living proof 4 me tat i could study if i wanted 2, it realli lifted my spirits up aLot aLot..!!! =D

and oH ya, CONGRATS 2 huiJuaN and tecKyoNg! =D loLs..! realli veri happie 4 them.. =DDDD loLs..! reactions are all smiLes.. =))

i had my physics test on mondae 2. it was horribLe. realli realli horrible. =)) i studied hard 4 this test, tis time i realli did! but it was realli difficuLt, and when i got back my test on tuesdae [mr lee marKs fast. 0.0], i gt 9/35!! tis time a bigger number of ppL failed, and mr lee was like, "tis is onLi a warm-up for ur finaL-year oK."
and the whole class was like, "hUh?!" man. =D

2dae moRn, came 2 sch early, had 2 give huDa the safety firSt de re-test, if not she can't be promoted.. loLs, she passed after all, weiwen marKed it le, yay.. =)) she was like so neRvous during the test, and i was like, "i here watching you, you feel veri pressurized arh? =))" loLs, and she stared at me. "huH? no la!" loLs, but she still seemed veri jing zhaNg 2 me. hmMx. am i tat scary? loLs.. =D

2dae we had the letter-writing de engLish test, not enough tiMe 2 write a good script!!! i wrote veri hurriedly, and there was so much i wanted 2 write, but i had 2 finish it, so i wrapped up veri hastily, and it's veri obvious in the script. =Pp nVm! over is oVer, no use moping over it. =))

btw, i passed my amath and emath retest too, i was hopping up and doWn when i knew.. =D

aniwae, not much 2 bLog, i juz read through my post and realized tat my whole post is about mostly studies de tinKs. =D am i becoming an over-nErD? =D loLs.. heyy, no offence, i was juz jokin..! =D

ok, going 2 eat dinner liao, yupp. i noe. so earLy eat dinner? muz be siao. =D but my mum cooKed alreadi, if i don't eat, she's going 2 sae i waste food again. [even though i didn't sae that i was hungry? =D] loLs, aniwae, takaire, cya round, i'll most likely be back after exaMs ba. bye.. =))

treetop waLk 10/9/05

heyy there, i've just showered and dried my hair after coming back from the treetop waLk 2dae.. yupp.

2dae's the third dae of the Sec 2 junioR nco course, which means, the hiKe from treetop walk 2 macritchie reservoir.. yupp, same tink, training began at 8am, we had them finish up all the push-ups they owed us, be it mr lee or anyone one of us nCos, the totaL was 180! so much! but i tink they were late, den when asked how they wan 2 return it, they said 2 double the actual number tat they owed, so.. yupp. loLs. =)) they could choose how they wanted 2 return it. in the end, they decided on 180 haLf-squats. =D smart kids. =D

the bus came at 9am, and we were off 2 the entrance of the trail 2 the HSBC treetop walk. i still can rmb the fantastic view from last yeaR's incredians training in deceMber, it's realli breath-taking. =D this time we didn't go the same rouTe as last year though, from treetop waLk, we went all the wae through trails, footpaths and broadwalks 2 end at Macritchie Reservoir, veRi different from last year.

fiRz, there wasn't tat canal over a stream we had 2 cross over this time, tat canal was kinda dangerous as i rmb..? yupp. but this year is veRi much hotter and VERI humid inside the 'forest'!! i tink if got wind oso all blocked by the tall trees le ba..? loLs! =D cuz we're like encLosed in the thick of nature, no sight of civilisation man. =D also probably bcuz it's the month of sePtember, one of the hottest months in the year, and when it was december last year, it was much moRe cooling, got slight breezes now and then ba. =))

we were on this broadwalk when we came down from the treetop walk, and we came 2 this stream running underneath, and surprise surprise, got this tortoise crossing the broadwalk too. =) but there was quite some distance from the broadwalk and the side bank, considered quite big distance for the tortoise! and it juz sort of tumbled off the broadwalk, slided and cracked all the wae down to the stream, and all the girLs went, "oH my god!" haHaha, all of us sort of stoNed there 4 awhile, cuz it's like, the *cRaCk*! and we were all going, it's so cute, and it's like, man, it muz hav hurt 4 the tortoise! loLs!

we had lunch at a mini fitness coRner, well. half-lunch, i suppose? =D cuz monkeys decided tat we had aLot of nice-smelling food, and they invaded our lunch-time. daMn the monkeys. =)) everyone was like enjoying their packed beeHoon, sandwiches, chips, bread stuffings, and suddenly they were hopping down all over the place. loLs. =D we had to stuff all the unfinished food in sight into our bags, veRi rushed. so wasted? daMn the monkeys. =)) there was some paNic over at the sec 2 girLs there, cuz the monkeys veri brave sia, hop non-stop 4ward towards them, and the girls veri fast, grab everytink and run away. =D actualli, there was initially one or two, and they cleared off, and there was some peace, den little did we noe, they had gone off for ‘backup’! siao liao, come back with even bigger number! jialat.

den at one point of time both kian wei and me eating halfwae den quickly turn behind at the same time 2 see if got monkeys behind or not, haHaha, so funni, cuz aLot of them is in front of us, den the same thought muz hav hit us, "shit, BEHIND got or not?!" den we turn back, relieved, realized we were having the same reaction. loLs. =D

it wasn't til auggy weiwen and leongcheng they all used the dowel poles 2 flail and fake-jab at them, den did they run off. my, did we clear off from the place fast man. and again, daMn the monkeys. =D

this time there was also this grey-metallic staircase tower, called the jeLutong tower it was after we had completed the treetop walk when we came 2 it, it's like our Chinese 'Jin Zi Ta', onLi not tat grand larr, obviously. =D u had 2 climb many windings of stairs, and when u came 2 the top, it's like open air, no sheLter, with a 360 deGrees view of everytink in the distance, so beautifuL...! =) but at the top, some of us were sitting down, and we looked at the side railings, and they like, sort of MOVING?! loLs, and we were like asking each other, "so is our eyes got problem, or the whole tower structure unstable?" loLs.. =D we had a short rest there, and we moved on..

the most amazing view, i tink, tat we didn't get 2 see, but saw this time, was on the broadwalk aLong Macritchie Reservoir. it was like rocks, rocks, rocks, trees, trees, brushes, and monkeys [ yes, mOnkeYs =)) ], then we came 2 a clearing and into open air, and the reservoir came into sight, and it's like realli, WOW. =D i try 2 capture the view into words, it's like ripples are travelling across the water surfaces, and there are little waves breaking under ur feet, under the wooden planks u are walking on, so niCe lorr, the view. =D

by the wae, i realli hav 2 sae i peifu the sec 2s sia, throughout the hike, they talk and talk and talk, all craps, we thought by the middle of the hike, they would be tired out, but NEVER! talk and talk, non-stop! bth! haHaha..

we went reach the main park, found a big big shelter [by the wae, one of fans spoil until hanging upside down! the park management oso never go and change, should be spoil veri long liao, it's rusty, dusty!]

the sec 2s played games, den after tat, we boarded the bus and went back to sch, gave out best traiNee, in our words is our version of Jue Dui Superstar, loLs [miLfred =D]

we had our nCo debrief, veri happie with the tinks mr lee said, gan dao hen xin wei.. =))
but also, sad, cuz the course is over, can sae we had fun.. den the six of us went 2 compass 2 eat maC AGAIN, made aLot of noise.. loLs..

by the wae, throughout this whole course, for every dae de lunch and dinner, i've been eating maCdonalds de mcNugget student meaL! loLs, i'm a nugget freak. =)

haLo haLo, i'm back again! got home quite early 2dae, the meeting 2dae ended what was considered quite early, so still had time 2 go compass 4 lunch and walk walk awhiLe with yanying.. leongcheng & weiwen were going out, lifen and auggy were going hoMe.. haHaha, lifen wanted 2 hurry home 2 watch vcd, wan 2 see shuai ge.. loLs! =D

aniwae the meeting went quite gd ba? the sec 2s were expeced 2 pLan all their own pt and games 4 the 3-dae couRse tis time, and the last dae is the treetop walk, and basicalli wad the 6 of us will be doing will be mainLy observing and giving lectuRes.. yepp.. weiwen leongcheng and yanying will be giving lectures.. auggy will be teacHing the wad..? oh yarr, the proper drill proceduRes.. loLs.. soRie larr, i 4got. =D later i'll be typing out the action plan 4 the course, tis time is quite pacKed..

aft mr lee finished talkin 2 the sec 2s, he met us @ physiCs lab 1, and discussed abt wad the sec 2s needed 2 learN tis time.. weiwen started off with [ team bonding ], and there was a break in voices. den i was like [communiCation?] den mr lee goes, [ wad?? we teach them communication?? ] haHaha.. =D stupid suggestion, i suppose he meant practicaL tinks ba, loLx.. =)) the discussion went smooth, the camp will be full of the basic basic stuff like tent-pitching, knots and lashings, lamp-lighting, and those lectures.. yupp. and the lecture on quaLities of an nco by mr lee.. tink mostly tat's wad we'll be doing..? quite similiar 2 our own batch's nco camp, onLi tis year is a couRse.. and there's going 2 be a sec 1 training on 1 of the daes, the sec 2s are going 2 be in-charge.. they'll be handing in their proposaL by.. i 4got when, tink it's mondae? no no, mondae is decide the daTe 4 the training, den proposaL is when the camp starts. yupp, correct correct. loLs.. =D

aft tat yanying and me went to pLaza in search of her [ i weekly ] and [ you-weekly ]! loLs. =) managed 2 find her [ you-weekly ], but [ i weekly ] was out of stocK everywhere, so we went 2 next stop, compass poiNt! haHaha, yanying oso got her dad 2 help her out in the magaziNe search.. =D @ compass point, we went to 7-11, guardian and cold storage! but still doN't hav! loLs.. suppose tis week is extra sellable cuz the main cover is of the [ project superstar ] 24 finaLists and inside got inFo of them? tat's wad i heard, i'm not veri sure, suppose is like tat ba. =))

aft eating we jiu walk walk awhiLe, as usual, from 4th floor walk down, floor by floor, den decided 2 see popuLar hav anot. guess wad? stiLL don't hav! loLs. yanying! hope ur dad finds a coPy!!! =))

later we saw eiLeen, lileen, alex, rayson, weiwen, leongcheng, xiongwei, kangjie, chengyong, kemund and yuentuck.. loLs.. kemund was going 2 pieRce ear @ triangle, so we stand there kPo awhile.. =D some of the guys had pieRcings le, so the ear studs caught the light here and there, so shiNe here shine there, looks quite cooL on them.. =D loLs..

tmL should be staying at home ba.. oK, need 2 go liao, shower and type out the actioN plan. yes! and try out tat new conditioneR, see whether it'll realli make my hair smooth and straight or not. hope it's not another sad case. ; ) cya!

heyy. back 2 blog again. 2dae's fridae and i'm home. the time is 5.34pm. surprising, i was hoMe b4 5pm 2dae. and on a fridae. wow. loLs. =D usualli tis time would be np training, but 2dae there's a teacher's dae dinner, and our training ends @ 6.30pm, so if our teachers-in-chaRge stayed back, they won't be in time 4 the dinner, so training was cancelled. yupp..

honestly, was quite reLaxed, cuz there was the no after-school mad rush 2 arrange our full uniform, last minute changes 4 training plans and venues, or the occasional dashes to rivervale plaza for materials--etc etc. =)) i tink aft we come back from our september hoLidaes den no more training aLreadi..? cuz ccas stop 4 the year-end exaMs. which means the start of nightmaRes. so sad. feverish cramming. frantic flipping of notes. eleventh hour calls 4 bits of information. yupp. the year end madness. =D ok larr, not so exaggerated ba, i was juz jokin. loLs. =))

aniwae, talking about studies hor. i got back my elect geog and amath test paper 2dae. well. let's juz sae i wish i never got back the paper. 4 amath i got 5/40. elect geog 4.5/15. how sad is tat..? veRi sad larr, i noe. loLs. =D

i was kinda frustrated with myself during amath. cuz i looked thru my paper, although i didn't do a single question on functions, i did all the ones on matriCes. i tot i had it covered. well. i made a careless mistake here and there, and wow, 5/40. but i was still oK, cuz it's kinda normaL 4 me 2 get tis kinda results in amath. i'm talking serious, it's quite normaL. besides, no use crying over spilt milk! loLs. =))

den next period was elect geog. wow, another beautiful paper. =D but of cuz, i never realli studied the whoLe chapter, and i onLi found out my textbook wasn't with me the night b4 the test. wonderfuL! =))

but later, during recess, the enormity of the two test marKs sort of.. hit me hard..? den i got kinda depressed, and 4 the rest of the dae in sch, i was lazy and didn't hav the mood 2 do anytinK. i'm not sure how 2 explain how it got 2 me. let's c, how 2 sae.. oK, never mind! let's juz sae next time you find out u've faiLed 2 tests in 1 dae, mayb u'll experience it too? loLs. but now i'm fine, i alwaes am, i never get tat upset over resuLts. they don't bother me tat much. but perhaps it is realli time 2 start taking tinKs veri seriously le ba. yupp.

aft sch! i had the physics re-test! and guess wad? i noe how 2 do...! but it was 3e3's actual test paper, and i borrowed auggy's paper, and sort of had the whoLe paper etched in my mind, bits and pieces of it. yupp. had a tip-off. so.. yepp. =D it sort of lifted my mood a weeny inch. but juz tat incH. and although i knew how 2 do the paper, it meant auggy, who aLso had 2 sit for the re-test, didn't study his own paper, and it's liKe, oh my god, i'm so soRie..! haHaha, but auggy came down and said, [ oh, i noe how to do! um, no no. oK larr. =) ] loLs.

aft the re-test, went 2 the np room. sLacked there, den decided 2 give the remaining 3 [ the brethren ] books in my lockeR 2 the library 2 recall the barcodes, so strolled off. at the lockers saw mr lee, and told abt further detaiLs 4 the sec 2 nco course tis coming wednesdae, cuz i asked him aft the re-test. said tmL there's a meeting 4 both sec 2s, and the 6 of the planning committee [ weiwen, auggy, leongcheng, yanying, lifen and me ]. the sec 2s will come 2 get the consent foRm, and we 6 will plan aft tat, will be meeting in np room at 9am. yupp. later need 2 call the gaLs. it's not compulsory for the sec 2s to come, but i tink majority should be got come ba, can learn tinks abt being an nco. juz like ours last year. onLi ours was a camp. um. was it? i 4got liao. haHaha. =D

aniwae! those who read my blog frequently [ i noe i don't blog tat frequently, but those who visit it frequently, tat's wad i meant (well, IF there are any!) =)) ] loLs. mayb u would hav noticed a change in tone in my blogging? i used 2 have alot of [ loLx ] and i end my sentences with alot of dots. i seldom end with fullstops. now i do. haHaha. =D nothing's goNe wrong, if you were wondering. juz trying out a new style of blogging, found it quite interesting when i saw ppl blogging in tis manner and toNe. =D

it's like since 4eva since i bLogged. been veRi busy, so soRie. =)) i try 2 summariZe everytink happening so far? haHaha. =)) there's been aTc puLau ubiN, aRea 7 games dae, aLot of tests tat i've been failing. yuPp. and the year ends are coMing.

recently quite sad larr. alot of teachers keep saying my work not up 2 standard, i should work harder, blar blar. =( one of the worst years in my schooling life. tat dae i never bring calculator from downstairs. den i tell mr aW. and he goes, [ bell eh.. i don't believe eh, bell. i don't believe. ] den my mood 4 the rest of tat dae not veri good. sad tat he like tat sae ba. cuz i everytime oso got bring. den tat was the onLi dae i never bring and he like tat sae. so quite sad. =(

after tat went 2 compass with yanying, hazel, bingchao and xiongwei. yanying hazel and xiongwei were going 2 meet their primary school classmates in BK, so bingchao and me walk walk awhiLe jiu go mac sit down. den we decided it was getting boRing. =D so we called hazel, saying tat her logistics cupboard never locK. she ran over from BK. looked so flustered. =)) den i cannot stand it. i laugh out loud. *soRie bingchao* =D den we gang up lie 2 yanying. den yanying oso run over from BK. hey theRe, i haven't blogged 4 two weeks liao, veri long man! loLx.. been veri busy, and i haven't been online 4 like since, duno when? haHaha! tat time the 2 chemistry edulearn quizzes is suzanne and bingchao help me do one, which exlpains why my moLe concept chapter in chemistry is so poor.. =D

aniwae, back 2 the present! 2dae was the NDP parade in sch!!!! and it rained! loLx.. =)) but we still had the parade! haHaha! contradicting? well, it rained, and mr reduan had everyone move to the hall, but juz when everyone got settled, the raiN stopped!!! yay!! =D luckily it stopped, if not all the uniform groups who have been training so hard, their effort would have gone down the drain, so thanK god! =D
the conceRt ended with a huge bang, like last year.. but sometink not veri happy happened 2waRds the end of the concert, don't realli feel like mentioning it, i guess everyone around us would have seen it.. WELL, hope tat some people have the sense 2 noe their limits, get this cLear, it was not our problem, we didn't offend you or anytinK.. when you do sometink, plz own up immediately, even if u noe it was wroNg, don't come and act like you don't know anytinK.. onLi after you start 2 grasp the seriousness of the consequences, den you come and sae sorrie..! wad's the use..? the damage is alreadi done.. but never mind, at least the some of the people involved, the decency 2 sae sorrie was there..

last year's hit soNg was 'One United People', this year is rui En and tauFik sing de 'Reach Out for The Skies', i tink it sounds nice..! =) it sort of grew on me, and the daNce steps are nice..! =) aniwae, sometink 2 share.. 'One United People' marked a veri lousy part 4 me in 2005, and 'Reach Out for The Skies' this year is marking a better time 4 me, i'm much much happier this time round, much much better den the word 'lousy'..! ; ) oK, now my mother is saying tat i'm writing things tat are 2 private here.. [aHem, i tink i need 2 remind her she's not supposed 2 be looking over my shoulder as i'm typing this, it is not poLite, even though she's my mother..? =D]

aniwae tmL augustine will be in the actuaL NDP parade @ the Padang!!! he was telling us 2dae if the TV camera went the same route as the one in the rehearsaL, he would be caught on TV.. he's the right-marKer! =D way 2 go, auggy!!! =)) aniwae, i'll be going back a few daes to type a few posts? i noted stuff in my handbook, so i rmb wad happened on those daes.. and type it in here.. =D oK, going back in time now [oK , lame!] bye.. =)

heYy heYy!! 2dae is wednesdae.. yuPp, i went 2 sch real early, around the same time as normal sch time, although it was a wednesdae, cuz there was a NDP rehearsal, and i went 2 open the NP room door.. haHax.. i didn't wan 2 stay home aniwae too, if i went 2 sch early, i would get a lift from my mom, so muz why i go early, no haRm.. =D besides, watching the rehearsal isn't tat bad, it can be quite interesting u noe, depends on how u look at it.. =)

aft the fiRz period, biology, christopher and me went off to the NE symposium @ admiraLty pri sch, it turned out we got the time wrong! we were supposed 2 be there @ 12.30pm like tat, which means we shouldn't even hav gone 2 class, as it takes about 45mins-1 hour like tt 2 get to admiralty primary, even by taXi! man! when we got there, everyone was seated, as well as the facilitators, they were with their respective traiLs de kids le!! we were extremely laTe!!! when christopher suggested i sms-ed emeLyn 2 check the reporting time 4 facilitators, i did. and she was like, "YOO! hahaha. we reach le lehs.." loLx.. and at tat point of time, both of us were still sitting in the generaL office, waiting 4 mrs amy ang and mr tan kenji.. loLx!

but no woRRies, all was well! we still caught up with our Trail 1A de facilitators.. there was kathleen and maLene from CHIJ SJC, emelyn and gavin from Hougang Sec, christopher and me.. loLx.. it turned out 2 be realli fun man!!! when we got there, everyone was seated in the haLL, but we found them in a jiffy, got aquainted quickly, den the perfoRmance jiu start le..

there was the opening item from greenwood sec and evergreen pri, they performed 'Reach Out For The Skies', and the pri school kids were like, sOoO cute..! =D they were on the stage, and the hall corridors and the middle walkway, they looked so eaRnest, and tat was wad made the whole tink so nice.. =D there was a skipping item and all, and some speeches? yuPp.. the trail itself was quite enriching for us facilitators too, our fiRz station was um.. the flowering plants, i tink, den came batik making, marbLes and den the food stations!!! =)) ours was the satay, ketupat and ice ball station.. the ice ball had different flavours, so cooL, kinda tasty, but veRi coLd!! =D emelyn and gavin left halfway, cuz they had the mass presentation 2 prepare 4 later, so left SJC de ppl, christopher and me..

loLx, when emelyn did her presention later after spoRts schooL de joeL paNg finished his, she had put our traiL 1A facilitators's picture on the firz slide, loLx.. and kathleen was like, "hey bell. who's tat girl up there arh?" i started 2 laugh, cuz it's like so obvious it's us and i told her, "ya hor. who's tat arh? looks like you hor?" and she went, "ya loh. how come har?" den i said, "muz be both of us la." and she said"ya. muz be." loLx! =D maybe it doesn't seem so funni here, but at tat point of time, it was realli veRi funny, probably bcuz we hadn't realli laughed out loud 4 a long period of time over there liao..? loLx.. =D

aniwae we went back kinda late, we reached school around 6 pLus..? i rushed straight home, had tuition at 7pm u see.. loLx.. aniwae not much 2dae, onLi big tink was the NE symposium.. haHax, brought back quite alot of memories 2 keep.. tat's all.. ciao..
